The farmhouse restaurant offers cuisine deeply rooted in the territory, bringing to the table the scents and flavours of traditional lagoon gastronomy – delicate yet intense, just like the land that inspires it.
Among the most popular specialities are pasta with lagoon crabs, mixed fried seafood from the lagoon, grilled mullet, tagliatelle with wild duck ragù, oven-baked wild duck and wild cherry ice cream.
The restaurant is open for lunch only, but in the evening guests may take advantage of a “take-away” service: order your favourite dishes during the day, collect your basket and savour it wherever you please.
Each morning begins with a delicious breakfast on the terrace, featuring sweet and savoury treats prepared with the farmhouse’s own produce: homemade cakes and jams, along with local cured meats and cheeses.

The farmhouse offers six spacious and comfortable rooms, each with a private bathroom. Furnished in traditional Venetian style, all rooms are doubles with the possibility of adding extra single beds and are equipped with a microwave. Breakfast and daily cleaning are included.

La Barena also offers four studios: two on the ground floor with a private garden and two on the first floor with large windows overlooking the lagoon. Each apartment includes a small kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, and private bathroom. Breakfast (available at an additional cost) and daily cleaning are not included.
